Air India announces free Wi-Fi on domestic flights

Tata Group's airline Air India on Wednesday announced that it has become the first airline in the country to offer in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity in domestic flights. Passengers on board Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 and select Airbus A321neo flights will be able to fly above 10,000 feet to browse, check social media, do internet work and message their friends and loved ones, the airline said in a press release. The Wi-Fi service will be available for free on laptops, tablets and smartphones with iOS or Android OS, the airline said. In this way, passengers will be able to use the Internet on many devices at a time.
This service is already available on Air India's international routes New York, London, Paris and Singapore routes. Now it has been started under the pilot project program on the domestic route. Nowadays it has become very important to have the internet during travel.
