Banks will remain closed for 13 days in December. Accordingly, fix your work schedule from now on. If there is any important work related to the bank in the next month, then check the bank holiday list once. From the list you will know on which day your bank's branch will open. This will avoid unnecessary wastage of time. Banks will continue to operate online. Transactions can be done easily through Internet Banking and UPI.

For your information, let us tell you that some bank holidays are national, which are bank holidays in the whole country. Besides which, there are also regional holidays which are implemented based on the festivals of the states. At the national level, banks will be closed simultaneously on 3, 4, 10, 11, 18, 24, 25 in December. These holidays will be on Sunday and second-fourth Saturday. Banks across the country will be closed simultaneously on December 24 due to Christmas and fourth Saturday.

Banks in Meghalaya will remain closed on December 12 as it is a state holiday on the occasion of Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangam. December 19, Monday, is Goa Liberation Day, so banks will remain closed in Goa on this day. Mizoram, Sikkim and Meghalaya will remain closed on December 26 on account of Christmas, Lasung and Namsung. Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on New Year's Eve on December 30 in U Kiang Nangwah and on December 31 in Mizoram.
