State Bank of India has increased the MCLR by 0.10 percent for a period of one year. Due to this, interest rates have increased on many other loans including home loans. The new rates have come into effect from January 15. With effect from January 15, the one-year MCLR has increased to 8.4 percent. 

Apart from this, SBI launched the festive offer campaign on 4 October. This offer is till January 31, 2023. In this offer, the bank is offering a discount of 0.15 to 0.30 percent on several home loan categories.
