Stock Market: There was good growth in the market today, Sensex-Nifty closed in the green mark
Stock Market Closing: The stock market is green on the first trading day of the week. Today both the Sensex and Nifty indices closed in the green. After trading on Monday, the Sensex closed at 58,115.50 with a gain of 545.25 points, or 0.95 per cent. Apart from this, the Nifty index closed at the level of 17,340.05 with a gain of 181.80 points or 1.06 percent.

Talking about the sectoral index, today all the sectors have been bullish. In the first trading day of the week, only the pharma sector has dominated selling. Apart from this, Nifty Bank, Nifty Auto, Financial Services, FMCG, IT, Media, Metal, PSU Bank, Private Bank, Realty, Healthcare, Consumer Durable and Oil and Gas sectors have been rising.

Out of the top-30 stocks of the Sensex, the stocks of 6 companies have fallen. Apart from this, the shares of all the companies have closed sharply. Today Sun Pharma has been a top loser. Apart from this, shares of HUL, IndusInd Bank, Nestle India, Asian Paints and TCS have also been selling.

If we talk about today's bullish stock, then the shares of Mahindra & Mahindra have been the top gainers. M&M stocks have gained 6 per cent. Also Power Grid, NTPC, Reliance, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Bank, Maruti, ITC, Wipro, SBI, Titan, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy's, LT, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra HDFC and Infosys have also seen good growth.
