Today trading in the stock market has started with a boom. The BSE Sensex opened at 53,637 with a gain of 221.73 points, or 0.42 percent. Apart from this, the Nifty of NSE has managed to open at 16,010 with a gain of 72.15 points or 0.45 percent.

What's up with Nifty?
40 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading with a green mark of bullishness and the remaining 10 stocks are trading with a red mark of decline. Apart from this, Bank Nifty is trading at a level of 34,724 with a gain of 73.30 points or 0.21 percent.

Status of sectoral index
If we look at the sectoral index, then there is a decline of 0.21 percent in IT stocks, and 0.51 percent in metal stocks. At the same time, the red mark of decline is also visible in PSU banks. Among the rising stocks, the FMCG sector is trading with a jump of about 1 percent and consumer durables are showing strength of 0.62 percent.

Looking at the stocks falling today, Wipro and JSW Steel are down by 0.83 percent. Tata Steel is down 0.70 percent and Axis Bank is down 0.51 percent. HCL Tech remains with a weakness of 0.43 percent.

In today's pre-opening trade, the BSE Sensex was trading at 53370.74 after losing 47.94 points and the NSE Nifty was down 7.75 points at 15930.80.
