Stock Market Opening: Sensex climbs 286 points to top five months, Nifty closes to 18,100..


Sensex opened with a gain of 107 points at 60,454 this morning and started trading. Nifty also gained 42 points and started trading openly at 18,046. Seeing the boom in the market from the beginning, the investors got excited and they intensified the process of buying. Due to this, the Sensex gained 286 points to reach 60,632 at 9.25 am, while the Nifty rose 81 points to trade at 18,085.


Investors betting here today
Investors focused on buying shares of companies like Kotak Mahindra Bank, NTPC, M&M, HUL, ITC, and Maruti Suzuki since this morning, which helped the market gain momentum and the stocks of these companies came on the list of top gainers. . In today's trade, Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 are also seen at a height of 0.9 percent.

On the other hand, shares of companies like Tata Steel, Infosys, and IndusInd Bank are showing selling since the beginning and with continuous profit-booking, these stocks have come into the category of top losers. After the news of the block deal, shares of PVR are seeing a fall of 2.5 percent today.
