Stock Market: Greenery remained in the market today, Sensex closed up 629 points, Nifty closed beyond 16500


Stock Market Closing: Good buying has been seen in the stock market even today. After today's trading, both the Sensex and Nifty indices have closed in the green. After Wednesday's trading session, the Sensex closed at 55,397.53 with a gain of 629.91 points, or 1.15 per cent. Apart from this, the Nifty index closed at the level of 16,520.85 with a gain of 180.30 points or 1.1 percent.


Shares of 20 companies rose
Out of the top-30 stocks of Sensex, 10 stocks have been sold today. At the same time, there has been good buying in the shares of 20 companies. Today the shares of Tech Mahindra have been the top gainers. Tech Mahindra's stocks have gained 3.8 percent. Apart from this, HCL Tech, TCS, Reliance, Infosys, SBI, Wipro, Hindustan Unilever, Titan, HDFC Bank, ITC, Nestle India, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, LT, Axis Bank, HDFC, Maruti, ICICI Bank, Ultra Chemical and Bajaj Finance shares have risen.

Which stocks were sold?
Apart from this, the stock of M&M has been the biggest sell-off. Along with this, shares of Sun Pharma, Kotak Bank, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC and Dr Reddy have also been selling.


There was mixed business in the sectoral index
Talking about the sectoral index, today most of the sectors have seen a rise in it. After Wednesday's trading, there has been a sell-off in Nifty Auto, Media, Realty Sectors. These sectors are closed in the red mark. Apart from this, there has been good buying in Nifty Oil & Gas, Consumer Durable, Healthcare, Private Bank, PSU, Pharma, Metal, IT, FMCG, Financial Services and Nifty Bank sectors.
