Stock Market Closing: Sensex closed with great gains due to buying in Auto - FMCG stocks - Nifty


Stock Market Closing On 15th July 2022: There has been a brake on the decline in the Indian stock market. In the trading session of Friday, the last trading day of the week, the Indian stock market has closed with great momentum due to the buying of investors.


This week the market was closing down for four consecutive days. But on the fifth day the market has closed in the green mark. At the end of trading today, the index Sensex of Mumbai Stock Exchange rose 344 points to 53,760 and Nifty of National Stock Exchange closed at 16,049 points with a decline of 110 points. It is a matter of relief for Nifty that the index has closed above 16,000.


Market's condition
In the stock market, except IT, metals, energy sector, all other sectors were up. Auto, pharma, banking, FMCG, real estate sectors saw a sharp decline. Buying has also been seen in mid cap and small cap stocks. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 16 stocks closed in the red mark, while 34 shares closed in the green mark. 19 out of 30 stocks of Sensex closed in green mark and 11 shares closed in red mark.
