Stock Market Closing: Market closed in red mark due to fall in IT and banking sector shares, Sensex again slips below 60,000..


Stock Market Closing On 15th September 2022: The Indian stock market has closed with a decline for the second consecutive day. Due to global cues and profit-booking of investors, Sensex has again closed below 60 thousand and Nifty has closed below 18 thousand.


At the end of trading today, the Sensex of the Mumbai Stock Exchange declined by 412 points to 59,934 and the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed down by 126 points at 17,877 points.


In Thursday's trading session, auto, metals, and energy, sector stocks rose, while banking, IT, pharma, FMCG, media, and consumer durables sectors saw selling. While there was a fall in the small-cap stocks, the mid-cap index closed in the green mark.
