Gold price today: Today is the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold, know the latest price
In India today i.e. on May 2, ten grams of 24-carat gold reached Rs 51,710 after a steep fall of Rs 1,080 from yesterday's purchase price. One kg of silver is selling at Rs 62,700 with a fall of Rs 800 from yesterday's price.

According to the Good Returns website, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold for Rs 47,400 in Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata. The same quantity of gold can be bought in Chennai for Rs 48,550.
Looking at the rate of 24 carat gold, 10 grams of gold is trading at Rs 51,710 in New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. In Chennai, the same quantity of 24 carat gold is being bought and sold for Rs 52,970.
In Lucknow and Madurai, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 47,550 and Rs 48,550 respectively. Gold of 24 carat purity in the same quantity is trading at Rs 51,860 in Lucknow and Rs 52,970 in Madurai.
In Kerala, Bangalore and Hyderabad, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 47,400. Similarly, gold of similar 22 carat purity can be bought in Bhubaneswar, Mysore and Vijayawada for Rs 47,400. Also, 10 grams of 24 carat gold is being sold for Rs 51,710 in all the above mentioned areas.
In Nagpur and Surat, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is trading at Rs 47,480 and Rs 47,460 respectively. Similarly, gold of 24 carat purity is being sold for Rs 51,790 in Nagpur and Rs 51,770 in Surat.
Today 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought in Jaipur and Chandigarh for Rs 47,550. The price of gold of 24 carat purity is Rs 51,860 in Jaipur and Chandigarh for the same quantity.
According to updated Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data, gold futures, which are due to mature on June 3 this year, fell 1.21 per cent to Rs 51,128.00. Silver futures, which are set to mature on July 5, closed down 1.37 per cent at Rs 63,235.00.
