In India today i.e. on May 6, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold is Rs 51,710 after gaining Rs 10 from yesterday. After a steep fall of Rs 1,500 from yesterday's selling price of Rs 63,800, one kg of silver is selling at Rs 62,300.

According to the Good Returns website, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought and sold in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata for Rs 47,410. In Chennai, the same quantity of gold is being traded at Rs 48,520 per 10 grams.

If you look at the rate of 24 carat gold, 10 grams of gold is being sold in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata for Rs 51,710. In Chennai, the same quantity of gold of 24 carat purity is being traded at Rs 52,930.

In Lucknow and Madurai, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought for Rs 47,560 and Rs 48,520 respectively. The cost of the same quantity of gold of 24 carat purity is Rs 51,860 in Lucknow and Rs 52,930 in Madurai.

The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in Vijayawada, Mangalore and Bhubaneshwar is Rs 47,410. Similarly, gold of 22 carat purity is being sold in Kerala, Hyderabad and Bangalore for Rs 47,410 in the same quantity. Apart from this, the value of 10 grams of 24-karat gold in all the above zones is Rs 51,710.

In Pune and Jaipur, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought at Rs 47,480 and Rs 47,550 respectively. The price of gold of the same 24 carat purity is Rs 51,780 in Pune and Rs 51,850 in Jaipur.

Today 10 grams of 22 carat gold is available at Rs 47,490 and Rs 47,560 in Patna and Chandigarh. The same quantity of 24 carat purity gold is being sold in Patna for Rs 51,790 and in Chandigarh for Rs 51,860.

According to recent Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data, gold futures which are due to mature on June 3 this year rose 0.08 per cent to Rs 50,939.00. Silver futures, which are set to mature on July 5, also closed down 0.09 per cent at Rs 62,280.00.
