The price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata is Rs 46,950. According to the Good Returns website, 22 carat gold in the same quantity is trading at Rs 46,890 in Chennai.
As far as the price of 24-carat gold is concerned, 10 grams of gold is available in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata for Rs 51,210. The price of 24-carat gold in the same quantity is Rs 51,150 in Chennai.
In Lucknow and Coimbatore, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being sold at Rs 47,100 and Rs 46,890 respectively. Gold of 24-carat purity is trading at Rs 51,360 in Lucknow and Rs 51,150 in Coimbatore.
In Kerala and Hyderabad, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being sold for Rs 46,950 and in Bangalore for Rs 46,980 in the same quantity. In Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam also 22 carat gold of the same quantity is available for Rs 46,950 while in Mysore it is Rs 46,980.
Apart from this, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold in Kerala, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam is Rs 51,210. The same 24-carat gold is available in Bangalore and Mysore for Rs 51,250.
In Chandigarh and Surat, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is available at Rs 47,100 and Rs 47,000 respectively. In Chandigarh, the same quantity of 24-carat purity costs Rs 51,360, while in Surat it costs Rs 51,260.
Ten grams of 22-carat gold are being bought and sold in Pune and Madurai for Rs 46,970 and Rs 46,890 respectively. The price of gold of the same 24-carat purity is Rs 51,240 in Pune and Rs 51,150 in Madurai.
According to the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data, gold futures maturing on August 5 this year fell 0.03 percent to Rs 50,762.00. Silver futures also closed down by 0.01 percent at Rs 57,128.00.
