Ten grams of 24-carat gold in India rose by Rs 100 to Rs 51,810 today, after gaining Rs 100 from the selling price of Rs 51,710 yesterday. One kilogram of silver is being sold for Rs 62,500, its rate has not changed from yesterday's vending price.

The price of gold varies daily due to important factors like making charges, state tax and excise duty. Here are the gold rates for this Tuesday from a few different cities across the country:

According to the Good Returns website, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is trading at Rs 47,500 in Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata. The same quantity of 22 carat gold is being sold in Chennai for Rs 48,590.

If you look at the rate of 24 carat gold, then the price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 51,810 in Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi. The price of 24 carat purity gold in Chennai is Rs 53,000.

In Jaipur and Coimbatore, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold for Rs 47,650 and Rs 48,590 respectively. The price of gold of the same 24 carat purity is Rs 51,960 in Jaipur and Rs 53,000 in Coimbatore.

In other regions including Kerala, Bangalore and Hyderabad, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 47,500. Whereas in Mysore, Visakhapatnam and Mangalore also gold of similar 22 carat purity is being traded for Rs 47,500. However, 10 grams of 24-karat gold is rated at Rs 51,810 in all the above zones.

In Surat and Patna, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought at Rs 47,320 and Rs 47,580 respectively. Similarly, gold of 24 carat purity is being sold for Rs 51,540 in Surat and Rs 51,890 in Patna.

In Vadodara and Ahmedabad, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought today at Rs 47,580 and Rs 47,320. The same 24-carat purity is being sold for Rs 51,890 in Vadodara and Rs 51,540 in Jaipur.

Gold futures maturing on June 3 this year fell 0.79 per cent to Rs 50,937.00, according to the revised list of Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data. Silver futures, which matured on July 5, 2022, saw a decline of 1.80 per cent and closed at Rs 61,425.00.
