Today i.e. on June 22, the selling price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is at Rs 51,980, down by Rs 100 from yesterday's price. One kilogram of silver is being bought and sold for Rs 61,000, no change is being seen in its price.

The price of gold varies on a daily basis due to factors such as state tax, making charges, and excise duty. Following are the Gold rates on Wednesday, June 22 in different cities of India:

According to the Good Returns website, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is being traded at Rs 47,680 in New Delhi and Kolkata. The price of gold in the same quantity is Rs 47,750 in Chennai and Rs 47,650 in Mumbai.

If we look at the rate of 24-carat gold, then the price of 10 grams of gold in New Delhi and Kolkata is Rs 52,010. The same quantity of gold is being sold in Chennai and Mumbai for Rs 52,090 and Rs 51,980 respectively.

In Vadodara and Jaipur, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being bought at Rs 47,700 and Rs 47,800 respectively. The cost of gold of 24-carat purity in the same quantity is Rs 52,030 in Vadodara and Rs 52,160 in Jaipur.

The price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold in Kerala and Bangalore is Rs 47,680 and in Hyderabad is Rs 47,650. In Mysore, Mangalore and Bhubaneshwar too, gold of 22-carat purity is priced at Rs 47,680 in the same quantity. Apart from this, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is being sold for Rs 52,010 in all the above areas except Hyderabad.

In Coimbatore and Lucknow, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are trading at Rs 47,750 and Rs 47,800 respectively. Gold of the same 24-carat purity costs Rs 52,090 in Coimbatore and Rs 52,160 in Lucknow.

In Nashik and Ahmedabad, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being bought at Rs 47,700 and Rs 47,760 respectively. The price of 24-carat purity gold in Nashik and Ahmedabad is Rs 52,030.

Revised Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data indicated gold futures maturing on August 5 this year fell 0.30 percent to Rs 50,606.00. Silver futures, which are expected to mature on July 5, also saw a decline of 1.21 percent and closed at Rs 60,529.00.
