If we look at the price of 24 carat gold, then the price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 53,440 in Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi. Gold of 24 carat purity today costs Rs 53,590 in Chennai for the same quantity.

In Pune and Lucknow, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 49,040 and Rs 49,140 respectively. Gold of 24 carat purity in the same quantity is available for Rs 53,490 in Pune and Rs 53,590 in Lucknow.

In areas like Kerala, Bangalore and Hyderabad, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought for Rs 48,990. In cities including Bhubaneswar, Mangalore and Visakhapatnam, the same quantity of gold of 22 carat purity is being traded for Rs 48,990. However, today 10 grams of 24-karat gold is priced at Rs 53,440 in all the above zones.

In Chandigarh and Surat, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought for Rs 49,140 and Rs 49,070 respectively. The cost of gold of 24 carat purity in the same quantity is Rs 53,590 in Chandigarh and Rs 49,520 in Surat.

At the same time, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 49,120 and Rs 49,040 respectively in other cities including Coimbatore and Nashik. Gold of the same 24 carat purity costs Rs 53,590 in Coimbatore and Rs 53,490 in Nashik.

According to the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures maturing on June 3 this year fell 1.59 per cent to Rs 51,430.00. Silver futures also saw a decline of 2.25 per cent and currently closed at Rs 65,051.
