UIDAI told the way
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has informed that income tax return can also be e-verified with Aadhaar card. UIDAI has given this information by tweeting from its official Twitter handle. He said that one can easily complete the ITR e-verification process through Aadhaar. Therefore, your PAN card and mobile number should be linked with your Aadhar card.


How to do ITR e-verification with Aadhaar
First of all go to the official website incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal.
On the home page, click on the Link Aadhaar option.
Now enter Aadhaar number and verify PAN number.
After this, the information of PAN and Aadhaar will be verified.
Now fill the ITR form by visiting the ITR Filing Website.
Here you have to select the verification option.
Now an OTP will be received on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
Enter the OTP number and click on submit.
— After this you will see Return successfully e-Verified written.
In this way you can complete the e-verification process.

ITR invalid without e-verification
