BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has shared an important update regarding the ₹2,500 monthly financial assistance for women in Delhi. He announced that the registration process for this scheme will commence on International Women’s Day, March 8.

He stated, "We will start categorizing applicants from March 8. Until women complete the registration, the funds cannot be disbursed."
Delhi's newly elected Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had already announced this scheme as one of her top priorities after taking office.
Who is Eligible for the ₹2,500 Scheme?
To apply for the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✅ Must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
✅ Annual income should be less than ₹3 lakh.
❌ Women earning more than ₹3 lakh per year are not eligible.
❌ Women from other states cannot apply.

Who Will NOT Receive the ₹2,500 Benefit?
The following women are excluded from the scheme:
