India is a country of diversity, its culture, traditions, customs and beliefs are very different from one region to another, one caste to another, one community to another. In such a situation, there are some communities in India who follow such marriage traditions which seem strange to the modern society. Let us know about one such report.

As mentioned earlier, wedding traditions in India are extremely different according to the culture and traditions of different communities. In some communities, clothes are torn after the wedding. In some communities, the bride and groom are locked in a room. Similarly, today we are going to tell you about one such unique wedding tradition.

In many parts of India, marriage is a grand celebration, full of happiness, a beautiful celebration of all the relatives coming together. But the wedding traditions that take place in many places can surprise you. You may be surprised to know that this tradition is being followed in India itself. Here in one community, the whole family sits together and tears the clothes of the groom, while in another community the bride does not wear clothes after marriage, and in another place there is a strange tradition of welcoming the bride and groom by throwing tomatoes at them.
Similarly, in a community in this village of India, the bride does not wear clothes for a week after marriage, not only this, during this time the husband and wife do not even talk to each other, and both are kept away from each other by separating them. This strange tradition is in Pini village located in Manikaran Valley of Himachal Pradesh. After marriage, the bride has to remain completely naked here for a week. But during this time, if she gets periods, she can only wear a belt made of wool.

This is similar to the tradition of women of some communities of Pini village who stay completely naked for five days of the month of Sawan. Here women do not wear clothes during the month of Sawan, while there are some rules for men as well, men cannot consume any intoxicants or eat meat during these five days, people here believe that if both men and women follow this tradition, then it is good for them.
