Seema Parihar's story is like a filmy one; she was kidnapped at the age of 13, picked up a gun at the age of 16 and married two bandits.

There were many great dacoits in the Chambal and ravines of UP, whose names not only scared the common man but also the police. Among them were women dacoits, who used to directly challenge the police. After Putlibai, Phooldevi, Kusum Nain, Seema Parihar was the fourth lady dacoit, who had a say in UP, MP and Rajasthan. Seema is the dacoit who gave birth to a child in the ravines. Seema's love story was also strange. She took seven vows with the person she loved. She later spent her wedding night with the dacoit who has done her kanyadaan and became the mother of his son. When the police pressure mounted on her, she surrendered and went to jail. When she came out of prison, she started doing social work. She went to Bigg Boss, met Salman Khan. She also worked in films. Currently, after being convicted in a case, Seema had to go to jail again.

Seema Parihar was born in Babine village

Seema Parihar was born in Babine village of Auraiya district of UP. Her father was very poor. Seema used to live in a hut with her parents and 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Sengar Thakurs had dominance in Seema's village Babine. Only Seema's father was a Parihar Thakur. Seema's entire family used to make a living by rearing goats. Experts say that Seema was 13 years old at that time. The village sarpanch Gambhir Singh called Seema's father to his house. The sarpanch told Seema's father to get his four daughters married to four boys of the village. But Seema's father rejected the sarpanch's offer. Due to which he became furious. The sarpanch had a good influence in the area. He had connections with the bandits. The sarpanch got Seema kidnapped through Lalaram. 10 bandits came at night and took Seema with them at gunpoint. This incident is of 1983. Seema was brought to the ravines. Then gang leader Kait Lalaram and his gang members Shriram, Suresh Lodhi and Sushma Nain meet Seema.

Birth of the second most dreaded lady dacoit

Armed dacoits used to keep an eye on Seema in the ravines. Meanwhile, Seema tried to escape from the ravines many times but could not escape from the clutches of the dacoits. Seema herself had told that she was raped in the ravines. She was kept hostage for three years. It was 1986. When a small boy from the neighboring village met Seema in the forest. He told Seema that the police had arrested her parents and brother and put them in jail. The house had been confiscated. Seema became rebellious due to this treatment meted out to her family and took up a gun in her hand. At that time, Seema was just 16 years old. Lalaram gave her training to use weapons. Then what happened, after Phoolan Devi, the second most dreaded lady dacoit of Chambal was born. After Lalaram, Seema had become the second biggest face of the gang. She took the responsibility of handling the entire gang. Seema started carrying out such horrific incidents that she was compared to Phoolan Devi. Other fellow dacoits started calling her the queen of ravines. After this, Seema and her gang increased the number of kidnappings and ransom demands. Seema's name started making headlines in newspapers. Till now, 200 kidnappings, 70 murders and about 30 robbery cases were registered against her.

Seema's name started to dominate the entire Chambal region

Seema Parihar along with her gang started attacking police stations and looting weapons from there. Seema had made life difficult for the police. Despite all efforts, the police were unable to catch her. Seema would go to any police station in broad daylight and kill the policemen and loot their weapons. After these incidents, the fear of Seema increased even more among the people. When Seema picked up the gun, she first targeted these Sengar Thakurs. They were looted, beaten and murdered every day. The situation had become such that the Thakurs of Babine village had stopped coming out of their homes. Seema's name had started to rule the entire Chambal. Big dacoits had started respecting her. Seema with a black tilak on her forehead, a red stripe on her head and wearing the uniform of a Baghi started appearing in people's dreams. Her crimes had started being discussed even in foreign countries. After Phoolan Devi's surrender, Seema was the only dacoit who was known as the lioness of the ravines. Seema's main profession was kidnapping. She is also called the mother of the kidnapping industry in the ravines.

Nirbhay and Seema fall in love with each other

Seema and Lalaram's gangs had dominance in Chambal and ravines. Then a new dacoit Nirbhay Gurjar enters Lalaram's gang. Nirbhay and Seema fall in love with each other. Dacoit Lalaram gets them married. Everything is going well. After a few days, Seema goes to a village situated near the ravines. Some women complain to her that "some boys came from your place. One of them was named Nirbhay, he raped our daughter and went away." Hearing this, Seema's blood boils but she controls herself. She again sends Nirbhay and some boys of the gang to some village to get ration. Nirbhay and the boys are late in returning. Seema makes those boys stand in a line and points a gun at their chest and asks, "How did it take so long to return from a village 2 kilometers away?" A boy tells, Nirbhay had entered a barber's house and raped his daughter, that's why it was late. Then Seema expels Nirbhay from her gang at 5 in the morning and threatens to shoot him if she sees him again. Nirbhay leaves from there. After this, Nirbhay becomes a big dacoit and marries 5 times one after the other.

She married her kidnapper Lalaram

After breaking up with Nirbhay in 1997-98, Seema married the gang leader and her kidnapper Lalaram. Lalaram was twice Seema's age. In 1999, she also gave birth to a child. The child was just 10 months old when in 2000, Seema's husband Lalaram was killed in a police encounter. Now Seema was alone. The police was constantly looking for Seema. To escape from the police, Seema was running from here to there in the ravines with her 10-month-old child. Finally, Seema decided to surrender. Seema's elder brother talked to the police. After conditions like job, land for house and gun license, Seema surrendered after 18 years. After this, Seema remained in jail for 3 years and 3 months. For the first 6 months, her son also stayed in jail with her. After coming out of jail, Seema Parihar supported Shiv Sena in the 2002 assembly elections. In 2006, she joined the Indian Justice Party. Seema contested the 2007 by-election for the Bhadohi Lok Sabha seat but lost. She joined the Samajwadi Party in 2008. In 2011, Seema was made the chairperson of the Women's Commission of the National Anti-Corruption Council.

Invitation to come in season 4 of Big Boss

In the year 2007, a film named Wounded was made on Seema. This film was made by Krishna Mishra. Seema Parihar herself played the lead role in it. During the shooting of the film in the ravines, dacoit Nirbhay Singh had also threatened that if Seema's second marriage was shown in the film, then the film would not be allowed to be released. However, the film was released later. Three years after the release of the film, in the year 2010, Seema was invited to appear in season 4 of the reality show Big Boss. Seema had made a lot of headlines even after appearing in Big Boss. A few months ago, Seema Parihar was convicted in a case and went to jail. Her son was at home. One day he went to buy goods from the market. Then Seema's son died during an accident. One of Seema's brothers was sent to jail on charges of liquor smuggling. Seema had also raised her voice against this.
