Gita Updesh: Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta describes the teachings given by Lord Krishna to Arjun during the Mahabharata war. But the teachings given in the Geeta are as relevant today as they were at that time. A person who follows them never faces difficulties in life and even the most difficult path is completed easily. Along with this, he always gets proper guidance in life.

In the Gita, a person finds the solution to all the dilemmas and problems of life. There are some such behaviors and habits which are inevitable in human life, but some habits take us on the wrong path and we start to fall. Information about three such habits is found in verse 21 of the 16th chapter of the Gita in which Shri Krishna has told about the three main doors of sin. Through this verse, he has told about the three main habits that lead a person to downfall. So let us know which are those doors, which become the reason for the downfall of a person.

Verse-

Trividham Naksyedam Dvaram Nashanmatmanah.

Kamah krodhasthatha lobhastasmamadettrayam tyajet.

According to the meaning of this shloka, three things – lust, anger and greed – take a person to the gates of hell. Let us know how –

When a person's mind is under the influence of Kama (lust), his attachments and desires start increasing, which covers his knowledge and due to this the person is forced to commit sinful acts.

Anger

creates confusion in a person's mind, which first of all destroys the intellect. At the time of anger, a person's conscience does not work and he starts moving towards violence, abusive words and bad deeds. This is the reason for the destruction of a person. Therefore, instead of getting angry, one should keep a calm mind.

Greed (Lobha)

Shri Krishna says that you should be satisfied with whatever you have, because a person's greed never ends and then in the desire to get more, he chooses the path of Adharma. The person starts lying, cheating, stealing and doing other Adharma deeds. Then this becomes the reason for his downfall and leads him towards destruction
