Centuries Old Tradition of Doli Village: In this era of changing times and science, there is still a village where faith prevails over science. This is the story of Doli village, about 20 km from Jodhpur, near Jodhpur Barmer highway. Where the people living in the village even today do not build two-storey houses, nor do the jewelers working in the jewelry business stay in this village at night. Not only this, there is no oil mill in this village to extract crude oil. This story is about 200 years old, which people are following with the same faith even today.

What is the reason behind this belief 

Villagers said that 200 years ago, Hariram Bairagi Maharaj used to do penance in this village. At the time of his penance, he had planted a dry wooden stick which is still present in the village as a Khejri tree. He had advised the villagers to make a circle around the village with a flame of raw milk and dry coconut and perform aarti. It is believed that due to doing this, no crisis came in the village. Even during the time of the Corona epidemic, there was no disaster in this village. 

2 storey house is not built in the village

At that time, a big Khejri tree grew at the place where the saint had planted the wooden stick. Due to faith in the saint in the entire village, no one builds a two-storey house. To know this story, when the NDTV team reached Doli village, the villagers told about their faith.
