When Saurabh opened his eyes at 7 in the morning, he saw Neha standing near the bed and adjusting her clothes.

“Hug me once,” said Saurabh in a sleepy voice.

“We can do it later, I have to go to the bathroom right now,” Neha said hurriedly as she tied her hair in a bun and quickly left from there.

Saurabh turned over and his hand fell on Neha's undergarments. He was lifting the clothes and looking at them when a strange stain caught his attention.

“This stain…” Saurabh's mind stopped. Questions started arising in his mind. He looked carefully at Neha's bra and other clothes, but the same stains were present everywhere.

"I did not use them last night. How did these marks appear?"

Saurabh's head started spinning. He got restless and got up from the bed.

“Is Neha hiding something from me? Is someone else…” this thought started echoing in his mind.

But immediately he calmed himself down, "No, this cannot be possible. Neha is so happy with me. I am the one who doubts her without any reason."

When Neha came out of the bathroom, she saw Saurabh upset and asked, "What happened? Why are you looking like that?"

“Nothing… just like that,” Saurabh avoided the topic.

But this question kept roaming in Saurabh's mind throughout the day. He decided that he would talk to Neha directly.

At night, when both of them were sitting and watching TV after dinner, Saurabh said, “Neha, can I ask you something?”

“Yes, ask,” Neha said smiling.

“How did those marks appear on your clothes?” Saurabh asked hesitantly.

Neha's face suddenly turned serious. She remained silent for a while, then said, "Saurabh, what do you want to say?"

"I am not saying anything. I just want to know," Saurabh clarified.

Neha took a deep breath and said, “Saurabh, it is time to tell you the truth.”

Saurabh's heart started beating fast. "What do you mean?"

Neha said, “Do you remember, last month I told you that an old friend of mine came to meet me?”

“Yes, so?”

“She was not a friend. She was my office colleague Rekha. She has a pet cat. When she came to our house, the cat was with her. I was afraid that you would get upset seeing the cat, so I hid it from you. These marks are from the claws of that cat. It scratched my clothes while playing.”

Saurabh did not know what to say. He heaved a sigh of relief and said laughingly, “So all this was done by that cat!”

“Yes,” Neha said, smiling. “You were suspicious of me, weren’t you?”

Saurabh felt embarrassed and hugged Neha. “Forgive me. I was doubting without any reason. This will never happen again.”

Neha hugged him and said, "The biggest thing in marriage is trust. Next time, talk to me first before thinking anything like this."

That night both of them cleared the misunderstanding between them. Saurabh decided in his mind that he would never doubt Neha again and would tell her every small and big thing clearly. Both of their lives filled with laughter and love came back on track again.
