The Tata Punch will be the smallest SUV in the company's line-up, which appears to mimic the design of the Tata Nexon, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari. The Tata Punch will rival the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, the upcoming Hyundai Casper as well as the upcoming Citroen C3 in India. The Tata Punch will be offered in four variants - Pure, Adventure, Exclusive and Creative, while it will be offered in seven color options including Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, and Calypso Red. The smallest SUV from the domestic carmaker gets a 5-star rating as per the leaked clip. The Punch is based on the ALFA architecture which made its debut on the Altro. According to the information, there will be an option of an engine in the punch. Which will be a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol three-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine. This engine will be capable of producing 84 HP of peak power and 113 Nm of maximum torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT.
