Bajaj Auto, one of the oldest two-wheeler companies in the country, is currently on the rise. Recently, the company has launched the second generation of its popular electric scooter Bajaj Chetak. The sales of Bajaj Chetak have also been tremendous. In December, the company has made another record. Its popularity is now visible more abroad than in the country.

The data of Bajaj Auto's wholesale sales shows that the company's exports have increased tremendously in the month of December. Its number is more than its domestic sales.

Bajaj's exports increased so much

If we look at the company's data, its domestic sales in the month of December were only 1.28 lakh units, while its exports were 1.43 lakh units. In this way, the company's domestic sales have fallen by 19 percent as compared to December 2023. At the same time, its exports have increased by 15 percent during this period. This figure is of the company's 2-wheelers. Apart from Bajaj Chetak, it includes its popular bike Bajaj Pulsar.

Sale of 3-wheelers is also tremendous

Bajaj Auto also manufactures commercial vehicles in the three-wheeler category. Its domestic sales grew by just 5 percent in December 2024. It stood at 34,085 units. At the same time, the export of the company's commercial vehicles has increased by 50 percent on an annual basis. In December last year, the company exported 11,256 units. This year this figure has been 16,867 units.

If we look at the data for the entire 12 months, this year Bajaj Auto's domestic sales have grown by just 6 percent to 21.74 lakh units. While its exports have grown by 12 percent to 13.73 lakh units. This includes both its 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers.
