Tata Safari Gold Edition launched, know its price and features
Tata Motors has launched the exclusive Gold Edition of its flagship SUV, the Safari, in the country. The price of Tata Safari Gold Edition is Rs 21.89 lakh. The new Exclusive Edition is offered in two distinct color options - White Gold and Black Gold. The White Gold is derived from the premium Frost White color, with a black and white contrast finish. This variant has a black roof which gives it a unique dual-tone look. Adding to this, the vehicle gets a very minty golden touch with Mont Blanc marble finish mid pad.
The Black Gold Edition comes with a coffee bean-inspired black exterior along with radiant gold accents. Black gold interiors with a combination of dark marble finish mid pad and golden treatment throughout the cabin, the gold touches of the exteriors make for the perfect combination. The new Gold Edition of Safari gets 18-inch charcoal black alloy wheels.
The interiors of the Tata Safari Gold Edition get premium features like Oyster White Diamond Quilted - Original leather seats, ventilation in both the first and second rows, wireless charger, air purifier, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay over WiFi. Tata Safari Gold Edition will be publicly visible at the VIVO IPL 2021 in Dubai. Tata Motors has also introduced the 'Safari Gold Hit Challenge' this season. Under which whenever a batsman hits a six and the ball falls on the car or the car's display podium or the Safari #Gold LED commercial board, Tata Motors will contribute an amount of Rs 2 lakh to the Akshaya Patra Foundation, which is an NGO and the entire Is doing excellent work in the direction of Kovid-19 relief in India.
The Safari Gold Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox sourced from Hyundai. Tata's Cryotech diesel engine is said to be inspired by the cryogenic rocket engine. It features a low friction valve train architecture and an advanced EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) to meet stringent emission standards.
