Such a change is happening in the auto world at this time which is being seen after almost 150 years. Now the whole world is shifting from petrol and diesel cars to electric and other alternative fuels. Luxury car companies like Audi, Jaguar and Rolls Royce are also creating their new identity and developing electric vehicles. Meanwhile, a company of Tata Group has made a big disclosure. Its survey will reveal how many people in the world are going to buy electric vehicles.

The country's largest software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has conducted a survey in different parts of the world. This survey has revealed that 64 percent of the people in the world are interested in buying an electric car as their next vehicle.

6 out of every 10 want to buy an EV

A TCS survey says that more than 6 out of 10 consumers in different parts of the world, including India, may consider an electric vehicle (EV) while buying their next vehicle. However, 60% of them consider charging infrastructure a big challenge. A study by software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) found that 56 percent of people are willing to pay up to $40,000 (about Rs 35 lakh) for a good EV.

The TCS study includes vehicle manufacturing companies, companies building charging infrastructure, fleet operators, customers and people promoting EVs.

Range will increase as battery technology improves

In the survey, 90 percent of the people have agreed that if battery technology improves, then the problem of range anxiety related to EVs can be eliminated. Apart from improving the range of EVs, it can also improve their cost, design and performance.

In the survey, 74 percent say that the availability of charging infrastructure remains the biggest obstacle limiting the growth of the EV market. Along with this, 56 percent of the people say that they are ready to pay up to $ 40,000 for EVs compared to petrol-diesel vehicles.
