Bajaj is going to bring its new electric Chetak to the market. Chetak is one of the best-selling scooters in India. Bajaj Chetak will compete with TVS iQube, Ola S1, and Ather Rizta in the market. The company is preparing to launch its new scooter this week.

 

According to reports, the new Bajaj Chetak will have a new chassis in which the battery pack can be seen under the floorboard. Bajaj is also working on a bigger boot for the Chetak electric scooter.

Currently, Bajaj Chetak has two battery pack options – 2.88kWh and 3.2kWh. It is likely that the upcoming model will enter with a bigger battery pack. A bigger battery pack can be seen in the new model.

The current range of Bajaj Chetak is 123 km to 137 km on a single full charge. However, this depends on the battery pack. With a larger battery pack, the range can be expected to increase.

 

The price of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter starts from Rs 95,998 and goes up to Rs 1,28,744 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The price of the new electric Bajaj Chetak cannot be estimated at the moment. No official information has been shared by the company.

TVS iQube electric scooter

TVS iQube ST is the company's cheapest electric scooter. In this, you get a 7-inch color TFT touchscreen display. You also get TPMS, connectivity features, and 32 liters of boot space. Talking about the top speed of the 5.1kWh variant, its top speed is 82 kilometers per hour. The 3.4kWh variant gives a top speed of 78 kilometers per hour. Its starting ex-showroom price goes from Rs 1.55 lakh to Rs 1.83 lakh.
