TVS Launched New Engine: TVS has made a big bang at the MotoSoul 2024 event and has launched the RT-XD4 engine, a 300cc explosive engine equipped with the best double cooling system ever.

 TVS Launches RT-XD4 Engine: TVS Motor Company has launched its new 300cc engine RT-XD4 at the MotoSoul 2024 event. It is a single-cylinder engine that offers a displacement of 299cc and generates a maximum power of 34.5 Bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

What features are equipped with

The engine has a plasma-coated cylinder equipped with dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) and dual cooling jackets. It uses liquid cooling for the engine head and air/oil cooling for the crankcase, which will see a tremendous jump in performance. With the cooling arrangement made in the engine, the bike rider is going to see the best performance.

However, the specifications of the RT-XD4 remain the same as the current 310cc engine of TVS - such as 78 mm x 62.6 mm bore and stroke data. The company has made it completely clear that this engine has been launched in a new design.

TVS has indicated that the new engine will play a big role in pushing the 300cc segment. Unlike the 310 engine, which has been in use since 2016, the new RT-XD4 offers better performance and louder engineering.

Can be used in new bikes

It is believed that the RT-XD4 platform will be used in the new bikes that will be launched in the market in the coming time. Due to being equipped with a dual cooling system, customers are going to see the next level performance in the bikes in which this engine will be installed. TVS plans to launch the first bike powered by this engine in the coming months. It has been learned that the company can use this engine in an adventure bike named Apache RTX, as the company has patented a new trademark for this name.
