Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has released figures ahead of the new year according to which 3 million units have been sold for the Dzire sedan. This remarkable feat has been achieved in about 16 years and 11 months. Prior to this, Dzire had produced 1 million units in April 2015, and 2 million production was achieved in June 2019. The company's models that have set the milestone of 3 million production include Alto, Swift and WagonR.

How much do other variants cost?

The petrol manual versions start at ₹6.79 lakh for the LXi, ₹7.79 lakh for the VXi, ₹8.89 lakh for the ZXi, and ₹9.69 lakh for the ZXi Plus. The Automated Gear Shift (AGS) variants are priced at ₹8.24 lakh for the VXi, ₹9.34 lakh for the ZXi, and ₹10.14 lakh for the ZXi Plus. For CNG options, the VXi CNG is priced at ₹8.74 lakh and the ZXi CNG is priced at ₹9.84 lakh. All these prices are introductory prizes valid till 31st December 2024.

What features are equipped with

The 2024 Dzire features a refreshed design with a large front grille, LED daytime running lights, Y-shaped LED tail lamps and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The dimensions are identical, length is 3,995 mm, width 1,735 mm, height 1,525 mm, wheelbase 2,450 mm, ground clearance 163 mm and boot space 382 litres.

Talking about safety features, the new Dzire is equipped with standard safety features, including 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and pedestrian protection. Apart from this, the car has also received a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP test.
