Maruti or Tata, who will become India's 'Tesla', e-Vitara will compete with Curvv EV

The country's largest automobile company Maruti showed a glimpse of its first electric car e-Vitara at the 2025 Auto Expo. While Tata and Mahindra have launched many of their vehicles in the electric car segment, out of which Nexon EV is being liked a lot.
Meanwhile, until Maruti launched any of its electric cars, the competition for electric vehicles in the country was between Tata and Mahindra, but after Maruti unveiled e-Vitara, the competition has now become triangular. Now it remains to be seen which of these three companies becomes the Tesla of India.
Why did Maruti's arrival cause a stir?
As long as Maruti was not in the electric vehicle segment, everything was fine because companies like Tata and Mahindra were deciding the price of electric cars according to their own convenience. Also, it was much cheaper than the electric cars of outside companies like MG, but Maruti has always been known as a cheap car for common Indians. In such a situation, Maruti's entry into the electric segment has created a stir among everyone.

It is technically designed in such a way that it increases the safety of the electric car. This car has state-of-the-art technology and advanced safety features. Regarding eVitara, the company claims that it will give people a different and superior driving experience.
