Komaki Venice high-speed scooter will be launched soon, know what will be the specialty
Komaki Electric Vehicles recently announced that it will also introduce India's first electric cruiser bike in January 2022.
Delhi-based EV maker Komaki has announced that it will soon launch a new electric scooter named Venice. The scooter will be the fifth vehicle in the range of high-speed models from Komaki. The new Venice will be offered in a range of 10 peppy colors. The Komaki Venice electric scooter will be made available with many specifications like regenerative braking, repair switch, and mobile connectivity.
The EV maker also claims that its upcoming high-speed EV will feature a large seating area as well as an extra storage box. Talking about the upcoming launch of this new model, Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division said, “Venice is going to be one of our most exciting launches. The amalgamation of exquisite design with advanced technology in 10 stunning colors is going to be an absolute treat for the customers. We have put a lot of effort into R&D to ensure that this model is one of its kind. It will come equipped with all the latest features like repair switch, regenerative braking system which will make it a great scooter to drive on Indian roads.”
Price will be less than Rs 1 lakh
The company has not yet announced the launch date of the Venice EV. It is expected to go on sale in the country by the end of this year. Since Komaki has not shared any technical specifications regarding the battery or motor, it is difficult to comment on the expected price of the scooter. However, it is expected to be less than Rs 1 lakh.

Komaki currently offers four electric bikes but is placing its biggest bet on the upcoming electric cruiser. In a statement issued, the company focused on affordability and accessibility in the form of two pillars on which the electric cruiser will be based. This is something that we have been working on for a long time. Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, “We aim to cater to the needs of every customer segment. Now that we have established a strong foothold in the utility segment, we aim to meet the demands in the segment. The launch of our new cruiser is a statement that EVs are not just for everyday use.”
