Hyundai is spending Rs 3.38 crore on the education sector, so many students are getting benefit

Hyundai Motor India has given scholarships to economically weaker children. The company has provided this scholarship under the Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program. The company has given a total scholarship of Rs 3.38 crore. It was started in August 2024. Applications were received from 23 states. In such a situation, now this scholarship has been given to 783 promising students. Out of these, 440 students are preparing for Civil Services Examination and CLAT. At the same time, 343 students are from IIT.

Minister Kiren Rijiju in the Government of India has praised this move. He said that education and technology are important for the progress of India. Such efforts of the company help in making the country a skilled and self-reliant nation. At the same time, the company's Trustee—HMIF Gopalakrishnan Chathapuram Sivaramakrishnan said that Hyundai's focus is on progress for humanity. In such a situation, Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program is giving the future nation builders an opportunity to study and move forward.

Hyundai Motor India Foundation is the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL). It is implementing this program through BharatCares. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Gopalakrishnan Chathapuram Sivaramakrishnan, Corporate Affairs Jeong Lee and Vertical Head Puneet Anand were also present during the distribution of scholarships.
The company increased the price
On the other hand, the company has increased the price of Hyundai Verna by Rs 7,000. With this, its starting price has now become Rs 11.07 lakh (ex-showroom). This increase is applicable on all variants. Now its top-end variant is available for Rs 17.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai has increased the prices of many of its cars. These include Verna and Creta. This increase has been done due to rising input costs and inflation.
