The country's electric two-wheeler manufacturer Komaki Electric Vehicles recently launched the cheapest electric scooter in its lineup. Let us tell you, the company first launched the XGT-X1 electric scooter in June 2020. At the same time, its cheaper variant has been made available for sale in India. The price of this variant is just Rs 45,000. In which lead-acid battery has been used.

Warranty on battery with many special features

It is worth noting here that the pre-existing variant of this scooter is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, which has been priced around Rs 60,000, and this scooter is capable of giving a range of 100 km to 120 km in Eco mode. In terms of features, the Komaki XGT-X1 has been given many features like telescopic shockers, an anti-theft lock system, remote lock. It also gets a synchronized braking system and sized-up BIS wheels. Komaki offers a 2+1 (1-year service warranty) on the XGT-X1's lithium-ion battery and just 1 year for the lead-acid battery pack.

What is the opinion of the company?

Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, is confident that e-scooters will continue to find more buyers, especially when fuel prices are at their record high in the country. "As always, we have focused while packing the vehicle with the amazing features that characterize Komaki electric vehicles," he said in a press statement issued by the company. "Given the price of petrol and the level of pollution, we believe it is time to start moving towards electric vehicles."
