Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0:  Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 in the Indian market, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Splendor. The bike has been priced at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom). This bike is Rs 3,000 more expensive than the current model and has been introduced in three color options which include - Matte Gray, Gloss Black, and Gloss Red color options. The new Splendor Plus will compete with the Honda Shine 100, Bajaj CT 100, and TVS Radeon.

what is specialty 

Apart from some minor cosmetic updates and extra features, the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 looks exactly like the older model. It gets the same classic design with a square headlamp, but now it comes with an LED unit with H-shaped DRLs inside, making it the only 100cc bike to be offered with an LED headlamp. The color schemes and graphics are also new and it also gets a new design for the indicator housing. 

Features and Specifications 

Talking about the features, the bike gets a digital instrument cluster which gives mileage information. You get many features in this powerful bike like a side-stand indicator, speedometer, odometer, trip meter and low fuel indicator readout, Bluetooth connectivity with call and message alerts, and a USB charging port. Customers have also been offered hazard lights with a dedicated switch in this bike.

Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is offered with a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder petrol engine that generates 8.02 hp at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The engine comes with a 4-speed gearbox and has i3s (Idle Stop Start System) technology. Talking about its fuel tank capacity, it is 9.8. The company claims that this bike is capable of giving a mileage of 73 kilometers per liter.
