From the new TVS scooter to the MG Astor, these cool cars and bikes are ready for launch next week


With the festive season approaching in India, all the automakers are gearing up to launch new vehicles. Today, through this article, we are telling you about the cars and bikes that will be launched in India next week.

The coming weeks will surely be exciting as several new four-wheeler and two-wheeler launches are planned for the festive season starting from Navratri on 7 October 2021. We will see at least five new product launches in the first week. Which includes 3 SUVs, a scooter, and a bike. Here is a brief about the upcoming new models.

Tata Punch: Tata Punch is one of the important cars of this year. The automaker will unveil the mini SUV on October 4 and its launch will take place in the next few weeks. According to the leaked information, the micro SUV will come in 12 variants, 4 trims (Pure, Adventure, Finished and Creative), and 6 color options. It will be the smallest SUV from Tata, however, it will have a bigger boot space than the Altroz ​​(366-litre). Talking about the engine, the Punch will be powered by a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine that will generate 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.

MG Astor: The official prices of the new MG Astor SUV will be revealed on October 7, 2021. It will be from the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the recently launched Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The SUV will be offered in two petrol engines with 8 trims (Style, Super, Smart STD, Smart, Sharp STD, Sharp, Savvy, and Savvy Red). The new MG Aster will be powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated and 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing 110bhp and 140bhp of power respectively. MG Astor will be the most powerful car in its segment. It will also be the most feature-packed mid-size SUV in the country. Some of its key features include ADAS, a personalized AI with voice command assistance, a sunroof, TPMS, and more.

Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4: The Toyota Fortuner Legend which is currently available with a 2WD drivetrain system will receive the 4X4 edition on 8 October 2021. Apart from this, no changes will be made to the interior and exterior of this popular SUV of Toyota. Currently, the new Fortuner comes with 2.7L petrol and 2.8L diesel engines. Which is with the ability to generate 166 Bhp of power and 245 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, its diesel engine can deliver 200 Bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque in the manual and 500 Nm of torque on the automatic. In terms of transmission options, it gets a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

TVS 125cc Scooter: TVS Motor Company has announced that it will launch a new product on October 7. While the company is yet to reveal the model name and details, it is likely to be a 125cc scooter based on Jupiter. The model could come with a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine sourced from the Ntorq. Whose motor can be capable of producing 10.5Nm of torque with the power of 9.4bbhp? The automaker may equip the new TVS Jupiter 125 with a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charger, external fuel filler cap, LED headlamps, and taillamps.

BMW G310R, G310 GS: BMW Motorrad is all set to roll out the updated G310R and G310 GS on October 8. As a part of the Model Year update, the bikes will get two new colors - Knight Blue Metallic and Cosmic Black Two with Red Rims. While the 2022 BMW G310 R will get a new triple black paint scheme, the existing Polar White shade will be dropped from the model lineup. 2022 BMW G310 GS will lose the '40 Years of GS' color scheme. Both the models are powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing 33bhp and 28Nm of torque.
