But until Maruti was not in the electric car segment, companies like Tata and Mahindra used to decide the price of their cars. At the same time, MG cars were also very cheap in the market along with Tata and Mahindra. But Maruti has always been known as a cheap and common Indian car. In such a situation, Maruti's entry into the electric segment has created a stir among everyone.

Competition began to grow

Tata Motors launched its first electric car Tigor EV for private buyers in October 2019. At the same time, the company's claim about this car was that this electric sedan car will travel 213 km in a single charge. At that time, the price of this car was fixed at Rs 9.44 lakh. At the same time, only after this Mahindra launched its electric SUV 'XUV 400' in the market. Apart from this, many models including Hyundai Kona, MG ZS, MG Comet, Windsor, Kia EV9 have come in the market and the competition in the market has increased a lot. But people have high expectations from Maruti's electric car.

After working on the electric vehicle concept for many years, the vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has finally entered the electric segment with its first electric car 'Maruti e Vitara'. The company said that it has been built on the HEARTECT-e platform. The company has specially designed it for battery electric vehicles. This car has state-of-the-art technology and advanced safety features. Regarding eVitara, the company claims that it will give people a different and superior driving experience and will be able to give a range of more than 500 kilometers once fully charged. At the same time, this e-Vitara, built on the Heartect-e platform in collaboration with Toyota, will include several battery options and all-wheel-drive systems.

Battery Option

Maruti eVitara will have two battery options of 49kWh and 61kWh. The company has designed this car keeping in mind futuristic design and premium experience. With twin-deck floating console, it maintains the digital cockpit experience. It is one of the cars in its segment to offer power-adjustable driver seat, sliding and reclining rear seats. The company will also provide premium sound experience to the users.

Safety Features

The automaker has taken more care of safety features. This car will offer premium features like panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control and ventilated front seats. In terms of safety, it has six airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The battery weighing 600 to 700 kg will support the long driving range of the SUV. 7 airbags and Level 2 ADAS have been provided in the entire range.

It will be manufactured at Suzuki's Gujarat plant

Let us tell you that this is a global model for the vehicle manufacturer Suzuki. It will be manufactured in Suzuki's Gujarat plant itself. 50 percent of its production is planned to be exported to Japan and European markets. Its look and design is also similar to Maruti eVX. Although the company has reduced some of its sharp angles, but a large part of it is similar to the eVX concept. This car has tri-slash LED daytime running lights at the front and rear, charging ports on the front edges and curves on the rear wheel arch. Features of Tata Curvv EV and e-Vitara

You can buy Tata Curve EV with two battery pack options. One is a 45kWh battery pack. The other is a 55kWh battery pack. Its smaller battery pack can give a range of up to 502 km. At the same time, its larger battery pack can give a range of up to 585 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds. Its top speed is 160kmph. The charging rate of Curve EV is 1.2C, with the help of which it can be driven up to 150 km on just 15 minutes of charging. The starting price of Tata Curve EV starts from Rs 17.49 lakh. Its top variant is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh. Maruti has not yet revealed the price of its e-Vitara. But its price can be up to Rs 20-25 lakh.
