CNG Cars: People are increasingly adopting CNG cars in India, and this alternative fuel option has now reached expensive cars including premium hatchbacks and SUVs. Today's CNG cars are equipped with many advanced features including a touchscreen system, automatic AC, and sunroof. In this sequence, we have prepared a list of four CNG cars which come with a single-pane sunroof.

Tata Altroz ​​CNG

Tata Altroz, the only premium hatchback in this list, got the option of a CNG powertrain in May 2023. Along with the CNG powertrain, the Altroz ​​also gets a single-pane sunroof, which is available in the mid-spec XM+ (S) trim, which starts at Rs 8.85 lakh. Altroz ​​CNG has twin-cylinder technology, which provides a boot space of 210 liters. Equipped with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol-CNG engine, the car generates 73.5 PS and 103 Nm of output in CNG mode, available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Tata Punch CNG

Like the Altroz, the Tata Punch has also been equipped with a sunroof since the introduction of the CNG powertrain. However, the Sunroof Punch is available only up to the CNG Accomplished Dazzle S variant, which is priced at Rs 9.68 lakh. Features like a 7-inch touchscreen, push-button start/stop and automatic AC are available in Punch CNG. Its safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and cornering stability control.

Hyundai Exeter CNG

The CNG powertrain option is available with the Hyundai Xeter from the launch itself. The SX CNG variant of Exeter comes with a single-pane sunroof, which is priced at Rs 9.06 lakh. This variant of Hyundai Exeter has features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and automatic AC, for safety, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, and a rear parking camera are also available. 

Maruti Brezza CNG

Maruti Brezza is the only subcompact SUV in India to come with a CNG powertrain and a single-pane sunroof. Which is available with its second top ZXi CNG variant, whose ex-showroom price is Rs 12 lakh. Maruti has equipped Brezza CNG with features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system, and automatic AC.
