5 Key Signs of Engine Seizure:

Sound from the engine:

Unusual sounds coming from the engine, such as knocking, dragging, or grinding, can be a sign of a problem inside the engine.

Overheating of the Engine:

If your bike's engine is heating up more than usual, it could be a sign of a lack of engine oil or a malfunction in the cooling system.

Engine Oil Color and Consistency:

The blackening or thickening of the engine oil, or the appearance of metal particles in it, can be a sign of wear inside the engine.

Bike smoke:

Unusual coloured smoke coming out of the engine, such as blue, white or black, may indicate an engine problem. Blue smoke can indicate oil burning, white smoke, coolant leakage and black smoke can be a sign of a problem in the fuel mixture.

Difficulty riding a bike:

If the bike is having trouble starting, or getting stuck while moving, it could be a sign of a serious problem with the engine.

The consequences of ignoring these signs:

Engine Siege: If these signals are not noticed in time, the engine may be completely seized, making it impossible to drive the bike.

Costly repair costs: It will cost a lot to repair the engine if it is seized. Sometimes the engine itself may have to be changed.
