TVS Electric Scooter: TVS has launched a new base variant of its electric scooter iQube. This new base variant has been brought with a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack.

TVS iQube New Base Variant: TVS has launched a new base variant of its electric scooter iQube. This new base variant has been brought with a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack and its price has been kept at Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom), which is cheaper than its other variants. Apart from this, TVS has also started deliveries of the top-spec ST variant of the iQube. The ST variant is available in two battery pack options – 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh. The iQube range is available in five variants with a total of three battery pack options.

Features and Specifications

The new base variant has a 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor, which gives 140Nm torque. This motor takes power from a 2.2 kWh battery. This battery is capable of giving a range of 75 km in eco mode and 60 km in power mode. By using a fast charger, its battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 2 hours. This variant is available in two colors – Walnut Brown and Pearl White.

The price of this base variant is Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), which includes EMPS subsidy and cashback. This introductory price is valid only till June 30, 2024. Talking about the features, the base variant has a 5-inch color TFT screen, 950W charger, crash alert, tow alert, turn-by-turn navigation, distance to empty, and 30 liters of under-seat storage.

Whereas, iQube ST comes with two battery pack options – 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh. Its 3.4kWh variant is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and the 5.1kWh variant is priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). 

Its 3.4kWh variant gives a range of 100km on a single charge and a top speed of 78 mph. At the same time, the 5.1kWh battery variant can give a range of 150km on a single charge and a top speed of 82km per hour.
