The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback has been introduced in five trims – LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. Its starting price is Rs 6.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). It is about Rs 25,000 more expensive than the earlier Swift. 

It has Suzuki's new 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine. Along with this, there is also an option of mild hybrid technology. Generates up to 82PS power and 112Nm torque. There is an option of a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox with this.

The new Swift will offer very good mileage. Its manual variants can give a mileage of up to 24.8kmpl while AMT variants can give a mileage of up to 25.72 kmpl. According to the company, mileage has increased by 10% with manual and by 14% with AMT.

It will be available in 6 monotone colors – Novel Orange, Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Luster Blue, Pearl Arctic White, and Splendid Silver. Additionally, there are also 3 dual-tone color options – Luster Blue + Midnight Black Roof, Sizzling Red + Midnight Black Roof and Pearl Arctic White + Midnight Black Roof color options.

It includes a driver-focused cockpit, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Suzuki Connect, digital AC control panel, wireless phone charger, Type-A and C USB charging ports, Arkamis Surround Sense sound system, 6 airbags, hill hold control, 16-inch dual-tone There are alloy wheels and LED projector headlamps.
