Booking of this sporty hatchback car has already started. Customers who want to buy it can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The price of Tata Altroz ​​Racer is expected to start from Rs 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom). After launch, this hatchback car can compete directly with the i20 N-Line. 

Tata Altroz ​​Racer Features 

The Altroz ​​Racer is actually a sportier version of the regular Altroz. It will get a powerful engine, some cosmetic changes, updated interiors with new features, and much more. The Altroz ​​Racer was first showcased at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo and then at this year's India Mobility Expo.

Talking about the design, the Altroz ​​Racer will have redesigned front and rear bumpers with air intakes, as well as a refreshed front and radiator grille. It gets a new orange color with a black roof and dual white stripes running along the length of the bonnet and roof. It has black treatment for the roof, wing mirrors, window line, and A, B, and C pillars, including an integrated spoiler. It will also have a shark-fin antenna and 'Racer' badging on the fender.

This hatchback car will have a sporty interior with a black dashboard layout with colored accents and contrast stitching for the seats and steering wheel. It also has colored inserts and ambient lighting based on the exterior color. The teaser has also confirmed that the car will get an electric sunroof, other expected features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, head-up display and voice-assisted sunroof, automatic climate control, fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, cruise control, parking sensors, and many other features.

The Altroz ​​Racer gets a more powerful engine than the regular Altroz. The Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 120 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is also expected that Tata may offer the Altroz ​​with a dual-clutch DCA automatic gearbox, but this is not confirmed yet.
