Auto Expo 2025: Ferrato Defy 22 electric scooter comes to take on Ola-Bajaj, will run 80km on a full charge

OPG Mobility has launched a new electric scooter for customers at Auto Expo 2025. The name of the new scooter of OPG Mobility (this company was earlier known as Okaya EV) is Ferrato Defy 22 and the booking of this scooter has started. This scooter can be booked by paying a booking amount of only Rs 499.

The price of this electric scooter is Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). This scooter has been launched for customers in seven colors Champagne Cream, Coastal Ivory, Black, Unity White, Dove Gray, Matte Green, and Black Fire. In this price range, this scooter will compete directly with scooters like Ola S1X and Bajaj Chetak. The price of the Ola scooter is Rs 91,999, while the price of the Bajaj Chetak 2903 electric scooter is Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom).
Top Speed and Driving Range
The top speed of this scooter is 70kmph and on a single charge, this scooter offers a range of up to 80km. The company has provided a lithium iron phosphate battery with an IP67 rating in this scooter. Apart from this, a weatherproof charger with an IP65 rating is available with this scooter.
Launched with three riding modes like Eco, City and Sports, this scooter has 12 inch alloy wheels. This scooter has a 7 inch touchscreen speedometer with music feature. This means that just like you enjoy music while travelling in a car, in the same way you can listen to music while travelling on this scooter.
Keeping safety in mind, the company has provided a combi disc brake system in the scooter, 220mm disc brake is provided in the front and 180mm disc brake in the rear. Talking about boot space, this scooter has a boot space of 25 liters for keeping luggage.
