China's smartphone company Xiaomi on Tuesday launched its next-gen smart TV range in India. Along with this, the company has also introduced a water purifier and an upgraded smart band.
The Mi TV 4X 65-inch is priced at Rs 54,999. The price of Mi TV 4X 50 inches will be Rs 29,999, while the price of 43 inch Mi TV 4X model has been kept at 24,999. Mi TV 4A 40-inch TV will cost Rs 17,999. These TVs will be available for pre-order from September 29 on Me.com and other online platforms.
Raghu Reddy, head of the category and online sales at Xiaomi India, said that we are not just a smartphone company and our wide range of goods in India is a testament to this. He said that Xiaomi has consistently been the top brand in India for many quarters and we hope that the next set of products launched today will help us to grow our growth.
The new Mi TVs come with a redesigned version of Patchwall based on Android 9 Pie. It has inbuilt Netflix and Amazon Prime Streaming Services. It is also the first TV in the world that comes with Google's data saver mode.
According to IDC, Mee TV, with a market share of 32 percent, has remained the market leader for the last five quarters. The newly launched water purifier is priced at Rs 11,999 and the Mi Smart Band 4 is priced at Rs 2,299.
The Mi Smart Bank U4 comes with a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display and 2.5D scratch-resistant glass panel and comes with a 135 mAh battery.
