Sales of OnePlus Nord in India have been delayed, and will now start from August 6. OnePlus previously announced its open sale for August 4, but the date seems to have been changed due to the large number of pre-orders. The company claims that the shares have fallen sharply due to demand. So the sale has been pushed forward two days to recoup the stock and prepare for demand.
In a forum post, OnePlus announced that the open sale of the OnePlus Nord will now be held on August 6, i.e. Thursday at 12 noon (midnight). Some pre-booked customers, who were promised to ship the smartphone on August 4, may also get some shipping delays.
Customs will be eligible to receive a one-year warranty extension against IMEI. This offer will only be valid until August 31, and buyers who experience delays in the dispatch will only be offered the extension. To take advantage of the extension, OnePlus asks users to download the OnePlus Care app, use the OTP system, add the OnePlus Nord under the My Devices section, and check the warranty plan.
