The government has announced a ban on 12 websites affiliated with pro-Khalistan organizations. A source associated with the case said that some of the banned websites were directly operated by the illegal organization Sikhs for Justice (SJF). The websites had pro-Khalistan content.
"The Ministry of Electronics and IT has ordered a ban on 12 websites under Section 69A of the IT Act," a source told the agency on condition of anonymity.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has the authority to monitor cyberspace in India. SFJAA 4 Farmers', 'PBTeam', 'Seva 413', 'PB4U', 'SadaPind' are among the banned websites.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had last year banned the SJF for anti-national activities. In July, the government banned 40 websites related to 'SJF' to support separatist activities.
