Vivo India launched its Vivo X series in India in March of this year. Following the path of HMD Global and Samsung, the company has now announced that all phones in the Vivo X series will get Android updates for the next three years. Vivo's announcement will benefit customers in India, Australia, and Europe.
Vivo has said that apart from Android updates, the Vivo X series will also be given all major security updates for three years. The company has also said that other phones launched under this series in July 2021 will also get updates for three years. Earlier last year, Samsung announced that it would give Android and security updates to its 40 smartphones for the next three years.
Let us know that in March this year, Vivo India launched its much-awaited Vivo X60 series in India. Three phones have been launched under Vivo X60 including Vivo X60 Pro +, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60. The Vivo X60 series has a direct competition with the OnePlus 9 series.
Vivo X60 Pro +'s 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at Rs 69,990 and this phone will be available in Imperial Blue Vegan Leather Finish. At the same time, Vivo X60 Pro's 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,990. This phone can be purchased in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue color.
Vivo X60's 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage cost Rs 37,990 and the 256 GB storage model with 12 GB RAM is priced at Rs 41,990. This phone will be available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue color.
