OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei's new company Nothing Ear has launched its first product in India in the form of earbuds, named Nothing Ear 1. The Nothing Ear 1 can be purchased from Flipkart starting August 17. It comes with premium features like Active Noise Cancellation. Apart from this, it also has support for wireless charging.

The price of Nothing Ear 1 has been kept at Rs 5,999 in the Indian market. Its price in the global market is $ 99 i.e. around Rs 7,400. Nothing Ear 1 competes with earbuds from companies like Oppo, Sony, Samsung, LG, and Anker Soundcore.
Features of Nothing Ear 1
These first earbuds from Nothing have been introduced with a transparent case which means that you can see the earbuds from outside. There is also a charging indicator with the case. There is a USB Type-C port for charging as well as support for wireless charging. Its battery life is claimed to have a backup of 5.7 hours, while the battery life with the charging case is 34 hours.
Nothing Ear 1 also supports fast charging, which is claimed to provide up to 8 hours of backup in just 10 minutes of charging. Active noise cancellation is also provided in these earbuds. It also has two intensity levels. It also has a transparency mode. Touch control is provided with Nothing Ear 1.
Nothing Ear 1 comes with support for the Ear 1 app, which can be used with both iOS and Android. Firmware updates can be done through the app itself. Along with this, there is also in-ear detection i.e. music will stop when the buds are taken out from the ear. It has an 11.6mm dynamic driver and has been designed with the help of Sweden's Teenage Engineering. With this, in addition to Bluetooth 5.2, there is support for SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.
