Poco X3 has been launched today in India through a virtual event that was live-streamed on the brand's social media platform and YouTube. The phone is a successor to Poco X2, which was launched in February this year. It is a slightly twisted variant of the Po Poco X3 NFC that was introduced in European markets earlier this month. The Indian version of the Poco X3 comes in three RAM and storage configurations and two color options. It will go on sale through Flipkart.
The base variant of Poco X3 in India is priced at Rs 16,999 for the base variant 6GB + 64GB storage model, Rs 18,499 for the 6GB + 128GB storage model and Rs 19,999 for the top-variant 8GB + 128GB storage. The phone comes in two color options - Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray. It will go on sale in the country via Flipkart from September 29, 12 noon (noon).
Dual-SIM (Nano) Poco X3 runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The phone has a 6.67-inch full-HD + (1,080x2,340 pixels) display, with a 240Hz touch sampling rate with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Poco X3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, Adreno 618 GPU.
The Poco X3 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX 682 primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide angle sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. At the front, you get a 20-megapixel sensor with f / 2.2 lens, which is placed in a hole-punch cut out.
The Poco X3 has UFS 2.1 onboard storage of up to 128 GB which is expandable via microSD card (up to 256 GB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS / A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Poco X3 comes with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Sensors include accelerometers, gyroscopes, ambient light sensors, and proximity sensors. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the phone is rated IP53 Water and Dust Resistance.
