There was a lot of speculation about the launch of Poco's upcoming smartphone POCO F3 GT in India. POCO India recently posted a new teaser of the POCO F3 GT from its official Twitter handle. A few months back, POCO had teased that it would launch the POCO F3 GT in India in Q3 2021 (between July and September). However, the company has not disclosed the launch date in its teaser. But, it seems from the teaser that the company may soon offer the POCO F3 GT in India. It will be a gaming smartphone.
The POCO F3 GT is confirmed to have MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Last month, POCO expanded its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the M3 Pro 5G. This included features like triple rear cameras and MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
The POCO F3 GT is likely to be launched in the first ten days of August. This means that we are just a month away from the POCO F3 GT launch date. The POCO F3 GT is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition that was launched in China a few months back. From the specifications of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, we can speculate about the POCO F3 GT specifications.
POCO F3 GT Expected Specifications
The POCO F3 GT could come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary unit, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera on the front could be a 16MP unit, just like other mid-range smartphones from the brand.
The POCO F3 GT is expected to sport MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and Android 11 OS. The phone could be available in India in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB configurations. The phone will feature a 5,065mAh battery and 67W charging. Other features may include 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers.
