BSNL has recently discontinued five of its prepaid STVs. But once again the government telecom company STV 395 is in the discussion about the amendment. With this amendment, BSNL has introduced a limit for voice calling for the second time. Importantly, the telecom company was giving unlimited voice calling benefits till 31 October. The STV 395 offers two GB of data per day. It is valid for 71 days and will continue to receive these benefits after the latest amendment. The amendment to STV 395 will apply to all circles.
BSV's STV 395, 3000 on-net after new changes while 1800 in net minutes are getting free. Earlier this plan used to get the benefit of unlimited voice calling. But the telecom company is capping 250 minutes every day. After free minutes, users will have to pay 20 paise per minute. Importantly, private companies such as Vodafone Idea and Airtel are offering unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit.
Let us know that Reliance Jio is capping for off-network calling minutes and charges 3 paise per minute. With BSNL's STV 395, 2GB data is available daily for 71 days. The new scheme STV 395 is available in all telecom circles except Mumbai and Delhi Circle.
Importantly, in both these metros, MTNL is providing its services instead of BSNL.
